THE ATHLETE'S PARENT ATHLETE OF THE MONTH recognizes and highlights high school-aged athletes who exemplify standout performance in their sport; academic excellence; and honorable character on and off the field. Each athlete awarded as ATHLETE OF THE MONTH will then be eligible for THE ATHLETE'S PARENT ATHLETE OF THE YEAR honor.

HOW IS AN ATHLETE SELECTED? 

Nominate an athlete below by the nomination deadline. The deadline for each month is the 20th of the month being nominated for. All nominees selected by The Athlete's Parent staff will be listed per state, per sport. Voting will be open through the last day of the month. The Athletes of the Month will be announced on the first of the following month! (example: The 2017 September Athlete of the Month must be nominated by September 20th, 2017. Voting will open on September 21 and will close on September 30 at 11:59PM.. The 2017 September Athlete of the Month will be announced on October 1, 2017)
